Thank you for your interest in our phlebotomy training program. Please read the below instructions to better understand the requirements and to determine if you are eligible for our training program. Additionally, please complete the below steps in order.

Initial Steps (Emory University Employee's only)
  1. Must be credentialed with Emory Healthcare prior to enrolling in the Phlebotomy course. The first step to begin your credentialing process (Emory University Employees Only) is to complete the Virtual Credentialing Course for Clinical Research Staff: http://ocr.emory.edu/training/courses.html
  2. Complete the entire credentialing process prior to completing the below application. The entire process includes you getting an approval letter from Emory Healthcare credentialing. Please reach out to research.credentialing@emoryhealthcare.org with any questions.
Additional Steps (All Learners)
  1. Must be an employee with one of our partnering institutions (Emory Healthcare, Emory University, Georgia Tech, University of Georgia or Morehouse School of Medicine). If you do not meet this requirement, we unfortunately are not offering the course to you at this time.
  2. Register for the course through ELMS (If you are outside of Emory, please e-mail the GCRC, GCRC@emory.edu, so an account can be created for you). When registering in ELMS, please search for learning code 312233 or Phlebotomy 101.
  3. Complete the HLC training module.
  4. Complete the below application and upload all required documents. Required documents consist of:
    1. CPR certification
    2. Recommendation letter from Supervisor stating why you need the course
    3. Current resume
    4. HLC training module certificate
    5. Emory Healthcare Credentialing Approval E-mail.
